Connie Lussier, Laughlin
Connie's granddaughter doesn't have health insurance. When her granddaughter had to leave school she was dropped from her parent's plan and her job does not provide health insurance. She got hurt in an accident and was flown to Las Vegas for care and ended up being transferred to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Although she is out of the hospital now, she is left with a bill of over $50,000. Connie is hoping some program will pick up at least part of that bill, because at 19 there's no way her granddaughter can pay it by herself.
