Nevada for Health Care seeks voter commitment
Nevada Appeal -- Nevada for Health Care is calling on voters to make affordable health care for everyone a key in selecting candidates from president down to local officials.
The project was organized by the Service Employees International Union, which offers health care to its members. Amber Lasater of Nevada for Health Care said SEIU decided to make it an issue because they say the current system is "broken" and doesn't provide coverage to all.

Nevada for Health Care makes local tour stop Tuesday
Mason Valley News -- About 20 persons, most of them locals, participated in a tour stop and mock caucus Tuesday as part of the Nevada for Health Care's statewide tour to prepare voters to attend their caucuses.
The lunch, presentation and then a mock caucus were conducted during the lunch hour at Pizza Factory as the statewide tour for health care reform made its Yerington stop.
Nevada for Health Care to speak this Thursday
Fernley Leader -- Nevada for Health Care officials will attend a Fernley Democratic Club meeting this Thursday (Nov. 8) at 7 p.m. at the Truck Inn.
NHC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that is working to raise the issue of health care in Nevada's presidential caucuses.
The discussion will focus on health care issues and a mock caucus.
