The Health Care Comparison Piece Is Now Available
Do you find yourself wondering which of the candidates have comprehensive health care plans? Which candidate will cover everyone? How do the candidates plan to pay for health care for their plans?
Great news - Nevada for Health Care has just released a detailed comparison piece. The comparison provides information on how each of the plans addresses four key principles for health care reform advocated by Nevada for Health Care Voters, including whether the plan achieves universal coverage, and if it allows for a choice of physicians.
For months, Health Care Voters have pressed the candidates to present plans and to answer the tough questions. Now, with the caucus just weeks away, voters can see in easy to understand terms where the candidates stand on fixing the nation's health care crisis! Download your copy of the comparison piece (pdf)

Holiday Wishes for the Candidates
Share your holiday health care wish or personal health care story with the presidential candidates!
We know it's hard to believe that the holidays are here and the caucus is now only weeks away. As we get into the spirit of the holidays, we want all the presidential candidates to keep health care at the top of their list. Over the next several weeks we're collecting holiday health care wishes and personal health care stories to hang on our holiday tree. Towards the end of December, we will be visiting all the presidential campaign offices in Vegas and Reno to deliver these wishes and stories.
We want all the candidates to make our holiday wishes come true and have a comprehensive health care plan that addresses our broken health care system. Email us today to share your holiday health care wish or personal health care story! Nevada@ImAHealthCareVoter.org .
You can also drop by our campaign offices and personally add your holiday health care wish or personal health care story to our holiday tree.

Statewide Tour for Health Care Comes to a Close
As we continued our tour through Reno, Carson City, Fallon, Fernely, Lovelock, Winnemucca, Elko and Ely, a consistent pattern continued to emerge. Nevadans want to make our first caucus a success!! Time and time again, as local residents learned how easy the caucus process was, they were committing to participate. Voters were also excited to have the opportunity to present our Health Care Resolution as their caucus meetings.
From the steps of the capitol in Carson to the neighborhoods in Ely, we had the opportunity to talk with hundreds of people around the state about health care. We heard personal stories and struggles. We heard that everyone is ready for change. Now, we're ready to take action to make that change happen.
The Statewider Tour for Health Care Reform Continues...
Nevada for Health Care continued its Statewide Tour for Health Care Reform Monday morning with a coffee outside the Beatty Medical Center, then headed to Tonopah for an early afternoon caucus training. Voters here are still gearing up for the January caucuses. The RV took off on the road again, arriving in Hawthorne for an evening pizza party and mock caucus. In Hawthorne, voters packed the room and were eager to learn about the caucuses. Health Care Voters in Hawthorne shared personal stories about their struggles with access to quality, affordable health care.
On Tuesday morning, the RV left for the next tour stop in Yerington. Health Care Voters enjoyed their local pizza joint, the Pizza Factory on Main Street. They asked great questions about the caucuses and how the Democratic and Republican events differ. The mock caucus came down to a tight match between mushroom, pineapple and pepperoni, with mushroom narrowly earning two delegates, to pineapple and pepperoni's one each after cheese failed to meet its viability threshold.
Nevada for Health Care and the purple RV wound through Wilson Canyon Tuesday afternoon, en route to a viewing of SiCKO and caucus training. Health Care Voters packed Antioch Coffee, filling every chair in the shop. After seeing SiCKO, voters were even more engaged in the discussion of the upcoming election and where all of the candidates stand on the health care issue. The mock caucus following the SiCKO showing was heated, with pineapple missing viability. Check for more updates from the road as Nevada for Health Care continues its journey through the state, bringing mock caucuses to pizza and coffee shops near you!
